Colombain Food
Colombian main dish.
Traditional Colombian food consists of many different things, like soups, cheeses, and meats. There are also fruits such as plantains, vegetables rice, and bread made of cornmeal. There are a wide variety of fruits, including five species of mango, and many others.
Each meal consists of meat, such as beef, pork, of chicken, vegetables, fruit, rice, and sometimes cornbread. Of course, some meals stray from this pattern greatly, but overall this is the general idea.
Some of the more exotic foods include dishes with fresh water turtles, although these are endangered. Ants are also eaten, but not as commonly, more as an exciting, once-a-year thing.
